I am proud to report that this weekend I was honored with the Rainbow of Possibilities Award by the GSA of Worcester Academy. In addition to accepting the award, I gave the keynote speech to a collection of students from Gay Straight Alliances from across Massachusetts. I was deeply impressed by the students and am proud to be considered a role model.
Being interviewed by MD Theatre Guide's Joel Markowitz a few minutes after being awarded Outstanding Book of a Musical at the 2011 Drama Desk Awards.
Beating out the expected winner The Book of Mormon, Adam Mathias was the recipient of the 2011 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Book of a Musical for See Rock City & Other Destinations! One of only two of the awards to go to an artist from a non-Broadway show.
