Lots of our favorite See Rock... performers are busily buzzing around Broadway and beyond! Here's a quick rundown:
Wesley Taylor (Evan/Rick, Barrington Stage & NAMT) has departed Broadway's Rock of Ages to start work on the new Addam's Family musical. Kerry O'Malley (Lauren/Judy, Transport Group workshop) just finished a stint in the Broadway hit Billy Elliot. John Jellison(Grampy, Barrington Stage & NAMT) is beginning work on Memphis, coming to Broadway this fall. Jill Abramowitz (Claire/Kate, Barrington Stage & demos) was recently featured in Broadway's 9 to 5. Broadway's new revival of Ragtime boasts alumni from every major showing of SRC: Mamie Parris (Dodi, 2008 Reading & demo recordings), Benjamin Schrader(Jess/Cutter, Barrington & demos) and Jonathan Hammond (Dempsey/Tour Guide, Transport Group workshop) Lisa Brescia (Lauren, 2008 Reading) and Hunter Foster (Jess/Tour Guide, NAMT) will be appearing in Adam Gwon's Ordinary Days at Roundabout. ...and Cassie Wooley (Lauren/Judy, Barrington Stage) has been crowned NYMF's Next Broadway Sensation!
